In a clandestine rendezvous, Sally and Peter meet for a thrilling, intoxicating night. With Sally’s husband, a passenger plane pilot, away, the lovers find themselves in their marital bed. However, the situation gets complicated.

Peter suddenly suffers from paralyzing back pain – lumbago. Attempting to soothe his agony with a hot bath, Peter finds that fate has other plans; rather than finding relief, he becomes hopelessly trapped in the bathtub!

This is just the beginning of the couple’s troubles, as the avalanche of unfortunate events is just starting. 

Unexpectedly, new people keep appearing in the apartment: a blind piano tuner, an unlicensed doctor, Sally’s handsome husband, the mysterious Annabelle, and the resolute Jocelyn.

What do they all have in common? Insinuations! 

In the web of lies they’ve fallen into, everyone is someone else and unknowingly plays the assigned role.
