DAJCIE MI TENORA!

(Lend me a Tenor!)

When the world’s famous tenor is about to visit Cleveland Grand Opera Company, everyone is very excited and nervous, as it might be one of the biggest nights for the opera.

However, right before the premiere of “Otello”, everything starts getting really complicated. It’s all because of Tito Merelli’s mood swings and his sudden illness… His marriage problems make things even worse!

The premiere has to take place anyway and Opera’s director, Mr. Sanders, is going to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

When everything seems to be going according to his plan, it is ruined by curious women: Primadonna Diana, director’s beautiful daughter Maggie, Julia, the Chairman on the Opera Guild and Maria Merelli, Tenor’s volatile wife. Irritating bellhop is just a cherry on top.

Will the performance be cancelled? Or will Max – director’s assistant – save the day and play Otello instead?

“Lend me a Tenor” is one of the funniest comedies ever written, a story about love, jealousy, business and big dreams. The play unfolds into an unpredictable explosion of mistaken identities!

WARNING! The play is a classic farce – it is guaranteed to leave audiences teary-eyed with laughter!
