Every family hides secrets that can turn life upside down.

Imagine a hot summer weekend in the countryside: an old, slightly overgrown house, a wild orchard full of apples, a swimming pool that has seen better days… and the return of grown-up children to the family home. Sounds idyllic? Not so fast! Everyone here has their quirks, and the biggest one of all is… love. Is it possible to come to terms with the past without losing touch with reality? Is imagination an escape, or perhaps a rescue? And are we sure everyone sees the same thing?

Meet Harry – the father who “talks” to Marilyn Monroe every day, Scott – the son with chronic man-child syndrome, Amy – the daughter with a sharper temper than the best blender, and Max – the boyfriend who philosophizes about life… but is more afraid of spiders than of his own thoughts!

This comedy is packed with family banter, arguments over canned carrots, and questions about why sometimes it’s better not to look under the kitchen sink. And when Marilyn enters the scene – icon, ghost, or simply a fantasy? – everything is turned upside down as reality blends with imagination!
